Migrating existing database to Amazon RDS

How can I import an existing MySQL database into Amazon RDS?

There are two ways to import data :

1. mysqldump: If the size of the data is less than 1GB, you can use the mysqldump command directly to import the data from RDS.
2. mysqlimport: If the size is more than 1GB, then the files can be compressed and then upload the data using the mysqlimport command.
