install redis on aws micro instance

I need to install redis in amazon cloud. I need it as a part of my npm module kue (deployment). Can anyone link me step by step tutorial or explain how to do it, considering the fact that I'm not good to bad with linux and administration.

One way is to launch an EC2 instance and then manually install Redis in your instance. You can install Redis on your server by following the step by step instructions in Redis documentation.

The second and more efficient way is to create an Elasticache instance that offers fully managed Redis.
