Data analytics, in general, is about managing data, drawing conclusions from it, and displaying the result to stakeholders. Data science is a more specific subset of analytics, concerned mostly with gleaning less-than-obvious insights through mathematical and statistical modeling. Data Scientist is the one who apparently needs to have data analyst skills plus to display the data using knowledge based on statistics and probability for the machine to figure out alerts or acts based on those models automatically giving a new business.
