How should I start learning data science from ground level? Is it worth reading the book "Data Science from Scratch"?

Data Science is a very broad topic that holds several subfields such as Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science. A good approach is to start from the subfield you feel the most comfortable with. Even at ground level, there should be something you feel more inclined to learn. As it is true that for learning any skill, you should go through some books. Download either R or Python and start doing bits with either language. Personally, I’d recommend Python as it’s a more widely used language and is versatile, so if you want to pivot and start building web apps with it, you’ll have a shorter learning curve with that.

For me, the best way is learning online. You can check out data science boot camps once you have a decent grasp on some of the key concepts of data science, or are expert in one.
