No doubt Selenium is the market leader in the testing field. But when we say the scope of selenium. Then it should be defined as per the need of a person or organization need.

First scenario: If we are going as an automation engineer four things can be possible.

1. We would be using it for UI automation.

2. You might be using it for UI along with API testing.

3. Might be using it for UI with database or backend testing

4. You would be using it to make some standalone program using selenium webdriver jar as per the customer requirement.

So this is the need of organization or individual how he/she is taking it
