The first point I want to make here is, DevOps is not a set of tools, it is using those tools to build an automated software lifecycle. So, you will need prior IT experience before becoming a DevOps engineer. So, the short answer is, with proper training even a fresher can get a job in AWS DevOps, but it can get difficult without proper training and no projects in your resume.

Before becoming a DevOps engineer, you can work in any IT field such as a software dev or an AWS architect. You can gain insights and experience in DevOps methodologies while working in those positions, then you can easily apply for a DevOps role and get it.

Now, as you have mentioned the AWS DevOps Engineer role, in particular, I will provide a few pointers which you can follow to achieve your goal.

  1. Become a master in AWS and clear the apt certification for you
    (AWS certified DevOps Engineer)
  2. Apply for AWS and AWS DevOps Fresher jobs. Just type the same phrase in google, you will find a lot of jobs
  3. (If you took a different IT job) Then gain experience and expertise in the field for at least 2 years and then clear the DevOps Engineer certification
  4. Now, you can start applying for AWS DevOps Engineer roles

This is one way to do it. There are still a lot of ways to achieve your dream. So, start working towards it and the first step you can take in your dream is learning the technologies

To start off with your career, go ahead and learn AWS. I will also include an AWS tutorial below so that you can take your first step from this answer.
