Can any one help me to understand audit logs in simple terms, rather than GCP's notes and how this "Audit Log" is different from Stack Driver logs.

Audit logs:

This will help you to maintain logs in a project on

1. Admin Activity

2. Data Access

3. System Events

Basically, this will help you to know about the activity of admin(who did what), Where the data is being accessed and when.

But whereas in stack driver logs, it will enable you to store, search and analyze the log data from google cloud and AWS.

You can also use this stack driver logs for monitoring of logs on the common application components.
