SSL certificate for azure cloudapp.net

Question

I bought a domain name and I redirected it to cloudapps.net along with assigning my certificate to it using IIS. 

On running the website, I get this error

my.cloudapp.net uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: example.pl, www.example.pl Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

The issue might be on your domain provider site. It may be possible that your domain provider has been transferring *.hello.com requests to hello.com.

This may be why your requests are going straight to hello.com instead of any other web address. 

You will have to get the wildcard removed to get it working.
