React JS is used mostly because of its component-based approach, well-defined life cycle, and use of just plain JavaScript. React is also easy to learn if you have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Facebook uses React to create mobile application using React Native. React JS is used because it uses unidirectional data binding and Flux control architecture. React JS is used because the applications built using React are easy to test.
