What is the maximum no of tables we can join in tableau?

In interviews it’s a frequent question that could be ask, so in tableau there is a limitation for the tables that you can used for visualizations. So only 32 number of tables can be used in Tableau, we can’t use the database that contains more than 32 tables. And another thing should be kept in mind is that each table can have maximum 255 columns not more than that. But there is no limitation for number of records in a table you can have millions also.
