What is the difference between ethical hacking and cyber security?

Could anyone differentiate between ethical hacking and cybersecurity?

Ethical hackers are also known as White Hat Hackers work the same as Black Hat hackers with only difference in their intention that makes them different from cybercriminals. The work of an ethical hacker is to use his penetration skills and penetrate different networks and computer systems to assess their vulnerabilities and identify their loopholes in it. They also validate the strength of the network system which helps in giving the complete picture of the network system.

Whereas cybersecurity professionals focus on protecting and safeguarding the company’s data and network systems by putting up security measures that fight against cyber-attacks. These professionals work towards patching up the loopholes and fortifying the network and computer systems.
