Why we use jenkins in selenium?

Could someone tell me why we Jenkins in Selenium?

We use Jenkins in Selenium because with Jenkins, it allows you to run your tests every time there is a change in the software and when it passes it allows it to deploy the software to a new environment.

This is an advantage to fix the software errors if any, at the earliest possible to avoid any further complications.
