Create a read only IAM user in AWS

I am creating a read-only IAM user in the AWS console, What permission I should grant?

Answer 1

There is an IAM policy "ReadOnlyAccess" that will grant read-only access to all the services.

To do that here is the steps:

1. open the user in IAM

2. Click on "Add Permission"

3. Now, Click on "Attach existing policies directly"

4. Select the desired policy and save.
