I have the example, OpenSSL version 1.0.0o on my Linux system, and I wanted to know which of the SSL/TLS versions are supported by this build.

Is there any shell command?

You won't be able to check for version support via the command line. The best option can be checking the OpenSSL changelog.

All the versions of OpenSSL till 1.0.0h support SSLv2, SSLv3, and TLSv1.0. And, from OpenSSL 1.0.1 onward, it has support for TLSv1.1 and TLSv1.2.
