Why did you become a data scientist?

Can someone tell me why did they opt for a data science career? There are many trending field so what is so special about data science?

Because I loved the job of analyzing huge chunk of data, process them by applying scientific methods and techniques on them, and extract the best actionable insights. If you are a problem-solver, have a knack for thinking analytically, natural inclination to Math, and statistics and have learned Programming Languages on your way, then you are best suited for the Data Scientist’s job.

But the reality is that many professionals who saw this growing technology, this new buzz word which created many disruptions across the world got interested in learning it, and wished to break into this field, as it offers a very good salary pay, job satisfaction, and all the new technologies are based on analyzing data, so they saw Data Science as an opportunity to safeguard their future.
