Unable To Connect Sql Server from Database from Power BI Desktop

Question

How can I connect SQL server from Power Bi and getting an error

Required attribute type cannot be empty ( C:/..../Microsoft.Net/.../machine.config). This is configuration issues with the file machine.config

How can I solve this?

• Go to file
• Select options and settings
• Data Source settings
• Select Sql server date source
• Edit and uncheck the Encrypt Connection option
