Could someone tell me what is classification in Data Science?

Well, classification is the process of classifying data into a particular class, label, or category. Classification is similar to how we determine which is which if we are presented with a range of objects in front of us. Classification is extensively used in Machine Learning for classifying the objects as in the form of an algorithm which is used to train the model from the past examples to better classify the inputs into separately placed classes or labels.
