ADO.NET is developed by Microsoft within their .NET framework, which is a technology for accessing the database to access any kind of data sources. ADO stands for ActiveX Data Object. Now this ADO.NET provides you with set of components, that are designed to help you create reliable, scalable, and high-performance, database applications over the Internet or Intranet and also for client-server applications.

If you are interested in learning .NET, then enroll in a good .NET course from Intellipaat to help you get certified through instructor-led training and guided projects and exercises. Also, watch our YouTube video on .Net Framework Tutorial.
