If you are a Business Analyst certified with CBAP, then you need to renew it every 3 years with 60 CDUs (Continuing Development Units) to maintain your CBAP certification. Now, IIBA or International Institute of Business Analysis, (the central body for these certifications) has few guidelines on how to earn those 60 CDUs. And they are through, Formal Academic Education Professional Development, Professional Activities, Self-Directed Learning, Volunteer Service, and Professional Experience, each activity providing you with certain CDUs to complete the minimum required 60 CDUs.
