Amazon FSx is a fully managed service for building, provisioning, and configuring your file system from AWS. Now, this service is available in two offerings, Amazon FSx for Windows File Server, and Amazon FSx for Lustre. So, Amazon FSx for Windows Server is a fully managed AWS service for business applications storage. This service is a native Microsoft Windows file system that allows you to move Windows-based apps to shared storage in AWS and since it is built on Windows Server, it offers you great level compatibility. You do get full support for SMB protocol, Microsoft AD, Windows NTFS, etc. And finally, FSx uses SSD for fast performance.

If you wish to know much more about Amazon FSx, watch Amazon FSX for Windows YouTube video. And if you are aiming for an AWS certification for the Solutions Architect role, you can enroll in an AWS training course from Intellipaat. This is an industry-standard course that helps in enhancing your practical experience and skillsets.
