Yes, you don't require certification to get an entry-level position in the Cyber Security domain. But being CompTIA Security+ certified helps you demonstrate your foundational skills in the field to your employers. And it helps you in positioning yourself as the top candidate for an entry-level role. Some of the job titles that accept CompTIA Security+ are:

  • Security Engineer
  • Security Specialist
  • Security Consultant
  • Security Administrator
  • Systems Administrator
  • Pentester
  • Network Administrator, etc.

If you wish to get certified, have a look at the CompTIA Security Plus Training to help you gain industry-level hands-on experience. Also, check out this video on the Cyber Security tutorial for Beginners.
