Azure Analysis Services is a data warehousing service. It lets you analyze your data using familiar tools and business processes. Azure Analysis Services offers the ability to scale up your queries and extract more value from your data by scaling out your workloads. 

There are multiple Azure Analysis Services, which includes:

• Azure Data Lake Store — A storage service for high volume data lakes. Data lakes are searchable, flexible and available via web or mobile apps.

• Azure HDInsight — A free service that lets you analyze unstructured and structured data in HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System) format into insights with SQL Server or Hadoop MapReduce jobs or HBase database tables.

• Azure Stream Analytics — A real-time stream processing service that makes it easier for developers to process streaming events from IoT devices using R language.
