How do I rename a Google Cloud Platform project?

Question

Is it possible to rename a Google Cloud Platform project? If so, how?

I don't need to change the project ID or number. But I do want to change the project name (the name used by/for humans to identify a cloud platform project).

Follow the below process:

1. Click on  "your project" on the top center on the screen.

2. Now, click on "Manage all Projects".

3. You need to select your project name there.

4. Go the "hamburger" icon on the top left, to switch to the "IAM & Admin" option.

5. Click on "Settings".

6. Now, type the new name as per your choice.

7. Click on the Save button.

8. Reload the page to see the changes.
