So while making volumes and going through different config files i found different definition for volume mounts sometimes its G sometimes its Gi . My question is are both same or different ? please explain

Hi, so both are two different things and account for different amounts of data. One has a binary prefix and the other has a decimal prefix. In terms of amount of data

    1 G = 1000000 KB / 1000 MB

    5 Gi = 5368709.12 KB / 5368.70 MB
