AWS error "Unable to locate credentials"

Question

I’m encountering ‘Unable to locate credentials’ error in multiple EC2 instances. When I tried executing the AWS CLI (instances launched with an IAM user that grants policies and no error got encountered. Any suggestions?

Add --debug in command line for locating where the credentials are looked up. I think, instead of queueing requests they might have got overloaded and made the decision to fail. Hope this might be the reason for that error in multiple aws ec2 instances.
