Resource groups are collections of web applications, storage accounts, networks, and databases in azure. The users form a group working on similar services to manage and monitor together. Azure Resource Manager can be used for managing these resource groups.

You can create a resource group in 4 steps:

Step 1: Log in to Microsoft azure.

Step 2: Open resource group.

Step 3: Click on add to create a resource group.

Step 4: Fill the resource name, subscription type and resource group location.

Step 5: Click on create.
