NLP involves 5 steps such as Lexical Analysis, Syntactic Analysis, Semantic Analysis, Discourse Integration, Pragmatic Analysis.

Lexical Analysis means breaking down the text into smaller units like sentences or words

Syntactic analysis means the words are arranged in such a way that shows the relationship between words.

Semantic analysis is done by using mapping syntactic structures to make words meaningful according to the dictionary.

Discourse Integration tells the meaning of a sentence is based on the previous sentence and makes sense to the meaning of the next sentence.

Pragmatic Analysis is done to interpret the exact meaning of the sentence according to the real world.
