What is a Set analysis in QlikView?

Can anyone explain about set analysis in QlikView?

Set analysis in QlikView means creating sets or groups from the data using aggregate functions like Sum, Max, Min, Avg, and Count. We are not rewriting the previous data but creating new data by making sets in this set analysis.

For example, if we want to find the total sales from the India location

sum({1<Location = {India}>}Sales)

It returns wherever the location is India returns the sum of sales.
