Amazon RDS for SQL Server is an RDBMS developed by Microsoft to handle the SQL server in AWS. We can use different SQL server editions like express, web, standard and enterprise with Amazon RDS. Amazon RDS makes database management and administration tasks easy. Amazon RDS for SQL server can use two storages such as Standard storage and Provisioned IOPS storage. Provisioned IOPS storage is more efficient in fast and consistent performance.
