How to keep always Rhistory file in home?

How can I save my Rhistory in a specific place, specifically in the home directory (~/.Rhistory), even if a save my .RData in a different folder ( ~/Desktop/R_working_directory).

I'm using a macOS and all I want is to keep all the history in the same folder (something like shell/bash that always keeps the history file in the home: ~/.bash_history, even if the working directory is different !!).

Let me tell you that you will always save your data of .Rhistory in your working directory only. If you want to explicitly save it:

savehistory(file = "mypath/wherever/today.Rhistory")
