Can anyone tell me how long to learn R programming?

For learning R programming basics, it will take just one week. Then, you have to pick up any dataset available online to perform various operations using R. To learn how to work with a dataset, it will just take 2–3 days. Finally, you should work on as many projects as you can. If you are a beginner, then one project will take 3–4 days, provided you spend 3 hours a day on it. After working on 2–3 projects, you will be comfortable in R programming. So, it will take approximately 3 weeks to get experienced in R programming. Also, if you have prior knowledge of any programming language, then it will be an advantage, and it will take only 1 week to learn R programming.
