Are machine learning and ai the same?

Could someone tell me the difference between A.I and Machine learning?

Artificial Intelligence or A.I. is a broader term which is about machines carrying out their own tasks without any human intervention ever needed. Any data fed fetches an output irrespective of the algorithms in use.

Whereas Machine Learning is a subset of Artificial Intelligence in which machines are capable to produce an output when a specific input data sets are given without needing any human intervention, to do the specific work.
