Azure Pricing, “Medium”(Azure price calculator) or “Standard/S2”(New Azure Portal)?

Question

While using the old portal, there is medium instance, and now there have update the website and there is no "Small", "Medium" or "Large" any more, there are Standard/S2. So, what is that means? can anyone help me with this?

Microsoft have introduce two tiers for Virtual machines, one is basic and another one is Standard having different pricing tiers. So, basically Standard tier is used for medium.
