AAA or commonly referred to as “Triple-A” is a standard framework for effectively managing the network and securing it from people with malicious intent.
- AAA stands for Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting.
- A-Authentication- determine who is eligible to access the network resources.
- A-Authorization- specifies the level of authority for different users inside a network to perform multiple tasks.
- A-Accounting- observes and records the different resources that an authorized user is using or consuming for the successful completion of his objectives inside the network.
AAA offers an extra layer of security for its users, to safely access their network from being at a distance.
