AWS Cognito Google Identity Provider Get Profile First & Last Name

Question

I have AWS Cognito with Google identity provider where users can log in but it only seems to get the user's email, and user name in my auth callback and Cognito login hooks. So is there any way to get users first name & last name?

You can, In Cognito, Go to Federation then Attribute Mapping -> Select Google from the tabs -> Check given_name and map it to Given Name, Check family_name and map it to Family Name. Rather than the Access Token, parse Identity Token from Cognito.
