Re-ordering the x-axis values in Power BI - “Sort By” not working

Question

I had a chart that shows x-axis values as 0-3 months,10-12 months,4-6months and 7-9months and I want all of them in ascending order

I have tried to sort by months

and then I have grouped for months

and I am not sure why it is showing 10-12 Months

• Create a new table and enter the new data and it will have the month label values in order you want.
• Set a relationship to show the month label in your new table from your month label in the source
• Set the slicer on the month label from your new table.
