AWS Cloudformation support for EKS Fargate

Recently I had come across some examples of CloudFormation for EKS using Fargate, but it appears that none of this is supported by AWS. Can some confirm?

EKS with Fargate is now supported via CloudFormation, you can create a Lambda function and use it within your CloudFormation.
