I want to become a data scientist in 6 months. How should I do it?

To become a data scientist one must be skilled in Maths, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Finance, and programming languages like Python, R. If you are starting from scratch, it might take years to become a Data Scientist. If you are from Engineering or Maths background then you might have some knowledge about the above-mentioned fields but you can learn the rest of them within six months. My advice for you is to take up multiple online courses in the areas where you feel lacking and work hard to learn them. Create a Kaggle account to get datasets and work on those datasets. Take part in Data Science competitions which will give you the experience to work in tense situations and you will have the experience to work with huge datasets. It is not an impossible task to achieve but with proper dedication it is doable.
