This is a Specialty level certification exam, and it means you need to be proficient in it to acquire the certification. One of the pre-requisites for becoming eligible to attempt the exam is to have at least 1-2 years of experience in developing, architecting, and playing around with Machine Learning or Deep Learning workloads, on the AWS cloud platform.
