Business Analyst more or less performs the same set of tasks in each company. Just that they will have to perform, some set of tasks that are specific to the company they are working for. At McKinsey, Business Analysts have to gather, organize and analyze data sets, test hypotheses, and formulate them, in conjunction with communicating recommendations to the business clients, solving their most difficult problems, and being part of a team that implements the communicated recommendations to fuel the business growth of the company that McKinsey is partnered with.
