Salesforce: Any Rest API available for accessing Salesforce Calendar?

How can I access Salesforce Calendar information with the help of the REST API? Calendar information means all the tasks, meetings, and so on. Is there any Rest API specifically for accessing Salesforce Calendar using JavaScript/Java?
