There is no option to COPY an AMI from one AWS account to another. You can do that within your regions under the same AWS account using the Copy AMI wizard.

But you can give access or share your AMIs with another account by giving in the AWS account number. If you have an AMI right now, follow these steps below to share it with another AWS account:

  1. Select your AMI and click on Actions
  2. Choose the option Modify image permissions
  3. There will be an option to enter the other AWS account number, enter the number to share it
