The programming languages used in Data Science are Python, R programming, SQL, NoSQL, and SAS. You should be familiar with Java or Scala if you want to learn Big Data.

Python is the most essential programming language for data scientists because of its libraries for data analysis, ML models, and deep learning models. After that, learning R programming is optional if you are good with python but R is better for statistical computations. In many of the banking, financial services, and Insurance sector, SAS is most used for data analysis, statistical computations, and predictive analytics.
