Learn about the tools they use in their daily-to-day work in the company. To gain technical skills, I recommend enrolling an online course or attend weekend classes for Machine Learning.
Certification on Machine Learning from reputed institutes really boosts your profile. If you are a working professional, it would be better to register for online courses because of their recorded sessions and self-paced learning.
