I'm a bit confused about the pricing of AWS Glue and AWS EMR as to which to choose.

I have 6 DPUs with ETL job running 30 days for 10 mins. Crawler requests are assumed to be 1 million and are calculated at $1 for the additional requests.

I have considered m3.xlarge on EMR for EC2 & EMR whose pricing is $0.266 and $0.070 with 6 nodes for 10 minutes for 1 month.

So after calculation for a month, it seems that AWS Glue costs me $14.64 and AWS EMR costs $10.08. As per my calculations, it seems AWS EMR is cheaper, I even tried AWS price calculator but still confused. So can anyone suggest to me if I'm missing out on something?

Yes, your calculation is correct. AWS EMR is quite cheaper than AWS Glue. As AWS Glue is serverless and is managed by AWS, so users need not worry about their infrastructure but EMR needs a lot of configuration, So for the technical users, EMR can be a good option to work with.
