Ingress in Kubernetes is an API object that lays out the routing rules to administer the access of external users to the services in a Kubernetes cluster, usually via HTTP/HTTPS.

Ingress helps you in setting up traffic routing rules easily during production environments, and configures and manages different capabilities like content-based routing, authentication, and support for multiple protocols, etc.

If you are wishing to get certified in Kubernetes, have a look at our industry-standard, Kubernetes certification course from Intellipaat. Certification from Kubernetes is accepted by well-over 80MNC’s around the world by companies like Ericsson, Sony, TCS, Standard chartered, etc.
