Ingress and Egress in Kubernetes come under the Network Policy of Kubernetes, which you can create yourself for a pod in Kubernetes. Ingress is incoming traffic to a pod. Egress is the outgoing traffic from pods. You can set rules to “allow” traffic in and out of Kubernetes Pod.
