How do I become a data scientist while studying a course at IIT which is completely unrelated to data science?

I am studying a course which is not related to Data Science or Computer Science. How can I become a data scientist?

1. Mathematics

3. Machine Learning

4. Time Series Forecasting

5. Python, R, SQL, and Data Visualization.
