Creation of Heat map in Tableau Desktop?

If you want to visualize the 1 or 2 measures (numerical data type) against 1 or more dimension then heat map is the chart that will be recommended. Because for 1st measure it uses as size and for 2nd measure it uses that as color. Let me explain it with an example like if you want to visualize Sales and Profit across different category as well as sub category.

Below is the snapshot for Tabular visualization in tableau so drag and drop the fields accordingly.

Now if you want this in Heat map then go to Show Me option under that select Heat map then you will see the below visualization.

Here size of the square denotes sum (Profit) and intensity of color denotes sum (Sales). Larger the size with high intensity of blue color means Higher the sales and profit for that particular record. So Phones is the subcategory under Technology which has highest sales as well as profit.
