How to create a filled map in tableau?

For creation of filled map in tableau we will use Tableau default data set i.e. Sample superstore, So first you need to import that data set in Tableau Desktop then follow the below steps:

1. Once you import the data set then you can see some of the fields will come under Dimensions and some of the fields will come under Measures, Then go to Dimensions and double click on States

2. Now from the Marks cards select Map by default Automatic is selected so change that to Map

3. Drop Profit to colors section under Marks card, so that the color bar will be set according to the profit value.

4. Now drop state to Labels so that state name will appear on the visualization
